Gulf Coast Gladiators Form Partnership with Blount High School Leopards and Coach Psachal Maize-Johnson
Mobile, AL – The Gulf Coast Gladiators are proud to announce an exciting collaboration with the Blount High School Leopards, led by the accomplished Coach Psachal Maize-Johnson. This partnership reflects the Gladiators’ commitment to fostering community relationships and supporting the next generation of basketball talent.
Coach Psachal Maize-Johnson, a distinguished Blount High School alumna and accomplished coach, brings over a decade of basketball experience to the table. A former standout player at Blount High, Coach Maize-Johnson went on to secure an ACCC championship with Shelton State Community College before continuing her collegiate career at Auburn University at Montgomery. Her coaching journey includes roles at Bishop State Community College and now as the head coach of Blount High School’s girls’ basketball team, where she has built a reputation for discipline, teamwork, and excellence.
The collaboration between the Gulf Coast Gladiators and the Blount High School Leopards will focus on mentorship, community engagement, and skill development for young athletes. Through joint initiatives, including clinics, mentorship programs, and game-day experiences, this partnership aims to inspire and equip student-athletes for success both on and off the court.
