The Gulf Coast Gladiators: Celebrating Patrice Richardson: Author, Leader, and Community Trailblazer.
Today, we proudly recognize Ms. Patrice D Richardson in the Gulf Coast Gladiators Who’s Who in the Community, celebrating her impact, resilience, and unwavering commitment to lifting others. Born in Mobile, Alabama, Patrice is the youngest of two children and a graduate of Murphy High School. Her early passion for communication led her to Bishop State Junior College and later to Golden West College after relocating to Huntington Beach, California.
Patrice has built an impressive professional path, currently serving in a role with one of the top hospitals in the country. Yet her entrepreneurial spirit has always shined just as brightly. In 2010, she launched Eva Shoes and Accessories, an online boutique named in honor of her late grandmother, Eva J. Halsell, whose guidance helped shape her into the determined, graceful woman she is today. With a mother who is also a designer, Patrice naturally expanded into custom shoe design, serving customers across multiple states. Eva Shoes Inc. continues to thrive on Facebook and Instagram, often appearing as a vendor at community events while giving back generously.
Her heart for service also led her to found Teach One Bring One in 2011, a nonprofit based in Nashville, Tennessee. As CEO, she created six-month programs dedicated to helping women and young girls grow mentally, emotionally, and professionally. Each year, her organization provides backpacks and school supplies to more than 500 students, proving her commitment to community extends far beyond business.
Today, Patrice continues speaking at women’s conferences, inspiring others to know their worth and chase their purpose.
Her newest accomplishment, the book I AM PATRICE, tells the powerful story of her spiritual journey, from facing homelessness to giving her life to God and pressing forward with unshakable faith. It is a tribute to anyone who refuses to quit, stays focused on their future, and believes that every setback can be the beginning of a breakthrough.
We congratulate Patrice on this incredible milestone and proudly celebrate her as a true Gladiator in our community.
